Giving Tree: St. Luke’s Clinic December 1st to December 31st Donations will be taken for St. Luke’s Free Medical Clinic at the Polk City United Methodist Church.  Items accepted are fun bandaids, stickers, suckers, gauze, diapers, cans of fruit juice, baby formula and peanut butter . Stop by the Library and grab a Wish List!

All Regular Youth Programs (Ages 0-18) are taking a break since Miss Brittany is on maternity leave. She will be back early January, which is when all youth programs resume! There are however two special youth programs happening this month [see below].

Coffee Wednesdays 10-Noon Join us around the fireplace for a cup of coffee or hot tea!

Sit N Stitch Thursdays 6:00-8:00 p.m. Bring your current project, and join the stitching!

Men’s Friday Coffee 10:00 – Noon Gentlemen, drop in for some coffee and conversation. Enjoy spending time and having a few laughs or interesting discussions with other men from around the area.

Special Christmas Story Time Tuesday December 5th 10:30 am Come listen to Christmas stories by author Phyllis Kaldenberg.

Four Season’s Photo Club Thursday December 7th 7:00 p.m. The Four Seasons Photo Club meets on the first Thursday of the month September through May. Come learn about photography techniques, and discuss with other photographers on ways to improve your photography. Watch for our guest speakers who have great insight into photography. New Members Always Welcome.

Library After Dark: NPHS Open Mic Night Friday December 8th 8:00-10:00 p.m. High school students are invited to share their creative writing, poetry, improv acting, music…pretty much anything goes! Coffee and soft drinks will be provided. Feel free to bring a snack to share if you like.

Animal Tracks Program Wednesday  December 27th 11:00 a.m. Lewis Major, a naturalist from Polk County Conservation, will be here for a very special program on animal tracks.

Family Movie Night – Captain Underpants Thursday December 28th 6:00 p.m. Rated PG  90 Minutes  Two fourth-graders hypnotize their principal in order to transform him into Captain Underpants. *You Are Welcome To Bring Pillows, Blankets and Snacks.
