Meetings: 1st Tuesday of every month at 7:00 pm

American Legion Auxiliary

Description: A women’s patriotic organization. Open to women who are related to someone who has served in the military. Purpose is to support veterans, young people and communities.
The main fundraiser is a community auction held in October.
Meetings: 1st Tuesday of every month at 7:00 pm

Sons of the American Legion

Description: Open to boys and men of all ages whose parents or grandparents served in the U.S. military and became eligible for membership in the American Legion. Promotes care of veterans and good citizenship.

Meetings: 1st Thursday of every month at 7:00 pm

National American Legion Riders

Contact: Mike Ball 515-751-2639
Description: A program of the American Legion, the members of this group are motor cyclists who participate in activities and fund raising to support the troops and veterans.

The special projects of this group are Military Kids, support of the children of the troops, and Operation First Response, providing help to returning wounded vets.
