$10 drop in rate for each class so you can try out the classes before you commit to a month. First Monday of the Month class is $5 if you want to try out Yoga or Step.
$50 a month for 2 Cardio classes a week but you can go to as many as you want. You pay for two classes and go to as many as 4 a week)
$50 a month for Power/Vinyasa Yoga classes.
$80 for all Yoga and Cardio classes combined in a month.

Description of Classes:
Step and Strength: 30 minutes of Cardio on the step, basic beginners class but there are modifications for those who want to work harder or need to work harder to get their heart rate in the correct cardio zone for optimum results. 15-20 minutes of work with light weights. Cool down with basic yoga stretches.
Power Yoga: A Vinyasa flow class with postures that shape the body. Lights are lowered. Soothing music. Aromatherapy is also used.
Zumba: A cardio class that works with all types of music but has an emphasis on Latin music. It burns more calories than most cardio classes while maintaining a party feel instead of a workout.
Mat Work: Basic floor exercises that work effectively, integrated with motivating music.
15/15/15: A cardio class that has 15 minutes of Step, 15 minutes of Zumba and 15 minutes of Kettlebell.
Kettlebell: A bell or ball with a handle that you swing. This uses both upper body and lower body in your workout so it is cardio as well as toning since you are swinging a weighted ball/bell. I have a couple of extra kettlebells but if they are all used you can use a weight that is provided or just go through the motions without adding anything. You can and will still be in your cardio zone.
Xpress classes: 30 minutes of Cardio from start to finish, get your heart rate up and get your metabolism going. ( these start at 6:30 p.m. I have put these on the schedule for people who cannot make it to the 5:30 class.

Deb Clark has been teaching in the Ames, Ankeny area for 15 years. She taught corporate fitness for Garst and was the Ballard Wellness instructor. She is certified in Step, Slide and as a Group Instructor. She has taught yoga for over 15 years. She has been teaching Vinyasa and Power Yoga for the past 15 years. She was a personal trainer for years and owned her own business in Slater. She believes exercise can change you on the outside but the most important changes happen on the inside. Exercise to her is a cure all for aches and pains and depression and most importantly it can help you on your journey to be your best self.
