Come help staff in Iowa State Parks create memories for families. You will be responsible to work as part of a team to create great outdoor experiences at Big Creek State Park.  Take a chance to work outdoors and be a part of history.

Crew members will work with full time staff to cover the park during the week and weekends to provide for the safety of our park users.  Pay will be $11.07/hr. People interested in taking advantage of these positions should expect to work outside and be capable lifting, hauling, and bending.  You will have the opportunity to work with hand tools as well as equipment. These positions typically run May through September and will require at least 1-2 weekends per month.   In order for park staff to provide exceptional experiences, park staff will need to clean restrooms and mow grass, but there will also be opportunities with work with rule enforcement, tree plantings, prairie work and outdoor education.  Great work ethic, positive attitude and a love of the outdoors are a must for these positions. Individuals who are interested should possess a valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years old.
